Returns Policy

We want you to feel confident shopping with SHYNE. If you change your mind, you may return eligible items in line with the policy below.


Change of Mind Returns (30 Days)

If you decide you no longer want your SHYNE product, you may return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, provided the item meets our return conditions.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund:
• Product must be unopened and unused
• Item must be in original packaging
• Proof of purchase (order number) must be provided


How Returns Work

1) Contact Us
Email hello@weareshyne.com within 30 days with:
• Your order number
• Reason for return (optional but appreciated)

2) Return Approval
We will provide return instructions and the correct return address.

3) Inspection & Refund
Once received and inspected, refunds are issued to the original payment method.


Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of untracked returns.


Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:
• Opened or used products
• Items removed from original packaging
• Gift cards


Additional Conditions

Partial refunds or refusals may apply if:
• Items are not in original condition
• Products are damaged (not due to our error)
• Parts/components are missing

Returns sent more than 30 days after delivery are ineligible for refunds.


Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified by email of approval or rejection.

If approved:
• Refunds are processed to your original payment method
• Please allow several business days for funds to appear, depending on your bank/provider


Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:
1. Check your bank account
2. Contact your card provider
3. Contact your bank

Sale Items

Only full-price items are eligible for refunds.

Sale or promotional items are non-refundable.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

To request an exchange, email hello@weareshyne.com with your order number and photos of the issue.


Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return.

If not marked as a gift, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.



Subscriptions & Auto-Renewals

If you purchase a subscription or replenishment product:
• Orders will automatically renew at the selected delivery interval
• Payment will be taken from your original payment method on each billing date

You may:
• Skip, modify, or cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing date via your account portal or by contacting us.

Once a subscription order has been processed or dispatched, it is subject to our standard returns policy.



Failed Delivery & Returned Parcels

If an order is returned to us due to customer-related delivery failure, including:
• Incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout
• Failure to pay applicable customs duties or import taxes
• Parcel unclaimed after delivery attempts
• Refusal of delivery

We will refund the item(s) value only, minus:
• Original shipping costs (non-refundable)
• Any return charges incurred by the courier
• A flat £4.99 handling fee to cover processing and restocking

If a parcel is abandoned or destroyed by the courier or customs and cannot be recovered, the same refund policy applies.

This fee does not apply where delivery failure is due to our error.



Chargebacks & Fraud Protection

We strongly encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback.

Where a chargeback is filed fraudulently or without prior contact:
• We reserve the right to dispute the claim with evidence of delivery, tracking, and customer communication
• Customers may become ineligible for future purchases
• Any associated fees or losses may be pursued where permitted by law

Filing a chargeback does not accelerate refunds and may delay resolution timelines.
