Step One: Flip the durag inside out so middle seam is visible on the outside of the durag - this will prevent you getting a seam print in your hair.
Step Two: Place the durag on your head so the front edge sits half way between your eyebrows and hairline.
Step Three: Take a tail in each hand and cross them over at the back of your head.
Step Four: Cross both tails again at your forehead (front edge of the durag) so they return to the back of your head. Keep the tails as flat and straight as possible.
Step Five: Tie the tails at the back of your head into a neat bow. The flap should now be hanging down your neck underneath the bow. Straighten the fabric so it's pulled tight for better compression.
